Varita Bombshell Profile in Chrome & Stainless Steel
My new favorite style of pen. Notice the top where instead of metal hardware, it’s all wood. This is what we call a “closed end” pen. It takes a little bit more work, but allows me to play a bit more with the design.
The Varita is a departure some some of the pens I’m use to making, but I think they’re some of my best yet.
In my effort to reduce material waste, this pen uses multiple species of hardwoods that I’ve collected from past projects in order to make the most of every piece of lumber in the shop.
